What is Intercession?

Centennial Intercession is a new credit recovery option for students who failed a class with a final grade of 65-69 during the 2013-2014 school year.

How does it work?

Only students with a final grade of 65-69 can participate.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  The student will be enrolled in 2 extra days of class (8 hours total) after school has ended and will retake the final exam for the course. Attendance is mandatory. The student needs to earn a minimum score of at least 70% on the final exam retake. If the student is successful, then the final grade for the course will be replaced with a passing grade of a 70, earning credit for the course.
