REQUIRED to attend Summer Learning: 

  • 9th-12th grade student who failed a tested course (Semester 2 or course B of Lit/Comp II, Algebra: Concepts & Connections, Biology, and/or United States History)

Recommended to attend Summer Learning: 

  • 9th-12th grade student who needs to obtain credit for a previously failed course  
  • 9th-12th grade student who wants to take a course to accelerate during summer school (Fulton Virtual only, tuition required)

Face-to-Face Summer Learning

The following courses will be offered in the face-to-face summer session at Rosewell HS. Student must have a failing grade for the course to register for face-to-face setting. 

— In-person classes will be from June 1 – 26, 2026.  Students are required to attend for the entire term. EOC : June 29 – July 1

— The hours for students to attend are 7:50 am – 12:50 pm.


 Registration is open March 2 – May 22, 2026 

    • Students with IEPs who will require special education transportation per his/her IEP should register no later than April 24 to ensure the child’s route is in place for the first day of summer school.
  • Students will register by using VECTOR in Infinite Campus – choose 25-26 Y_Roswell HS Summer Scho – 2026/RI from the drop-down menu drop down as location. Summer Learning Registration Directions
  • Students may re-take up to TWO semester-long courses in the face-to-face setting at no cost.  Student must have a failing grade for the course to register for face-to-face setting.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost for all students attending summer learning.
  • Transportation will be provided from limited stops.
    • Fulton County Schools provides bus transportation for all students in the summer learning program. To provide this service, revised routes will pick up and drop off students based on “community” stops, high density stops, and school-to-school stops. This includes buses that will take students from their original home school to the summer school site. We will continue to use the “Here Comes the Bus” app during summer learning to ensure that parents have the most up-to-date bus information. Students attending Summer Learning Adaptive program can receive transportation based on their IEP. Please register with the student’s home school no later than April 24th to ensure the student’s route is in place for the first day of summer school.

Fulton Virtual Summer School

 Fulton Virtual (FV) Summer Learning:

Offers select courses outlined at Fulton Virtual Summer Learning

FV Summer courses run May 28 – July 1, 2026

EOC : June 29 – July 1

Students may retake up to THREE semester-long course credits during Fulton Virtual summer learning at no costEach semester course requires 3.5 hour minimum work per day for 5-week course.

Georgia Virtual School - Summer Courses (Tuition required)

Georgia Virtual School:

Dates for online summer school: June 1 – July 9, 2026  

July 4-9 are Final Exams.  Final grades released on July 16

 

Fulton County Credit Recovery

Courses run June 1 – June 26, 2026

EOC : June 29 – July 1

Registration by your school counselor opens March 2nd. The class must be completed & passed with a 70 or higher by the last day (June 26) for credit.

FCCR is designed to help students recover credits for courses they have previously failed. These online courses are overseen by a lab facilitator, ensuring students receive the necessary support to succeed. The credit recovery courses are standardized to maintain a consistent level of quality and rigor, aiding students in getting back on track for graduation.

Step 1Download and complete the Centennial HS 2026-2027 Online Course Contract with your parent

 

Step 2: Register for your course(s) on the online provider’s website

  • Choose the semesters for your online courses – Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
  • A courses = Semester 1 (Fall),  B courses = Semester 2 (Spring)
  • NOTE: if you are taking a yearlong class, register for both A (fall) and B (spring) semesters during the registration period.

Step 3: Turn-in your signed contract to your school counselor

**Make sure your contract is signed by both you and your parent AND you register online for your courses by MARCH 9**
